Wikis - sharing
I see there's an "Ecovillage Wiki" link at the top of this community, to the Wikipedia page. I'd like to point out the Appropedia wiki which documents ecovillages and similar efforts, and shares ideas, designs and projects around all the kind of technologies and community issues that an ecovillage might face.

(If you're confused about the wiki terminology: wiki is a type of site where you can share and collaborate easily. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, while Appropedia is a wiki for broader kinds of content like how-tos, analysis, designs, calls to action, project documentation and more...).

The Appropedia community has been working on eco-village and permaculture info resources for a while - and it's an open edit wiki, so it would be great to have the input of all of you here. It's a completely free site, and a platform for sharing.

Note also the appropedia community on LJ - there'll be lots of permaculture and ecovillage related posts, so please join, comment and share!
